For nearly a decade, worked with cannabis operators across a wide range of markets, from newly legalized states to some of the most established and heavily regulated programs in the country. During that time, partnered with independent retailers, emerging operators, and large multi-state organizations.
Despite their differences, many faced the same challenge: turning inventory management into a process that was both compliant and profitable.
Large operators often had access to sophisticated software, reporting tools, and extensive datasets, yet struggled to determine which metrics truly mattered. Smaller operators faced many of the same operational challenges but with fewer resources and less visibility into their business performance.
Over time, it became clear that success wasn't determined by how much data a company had, it was determined by how effectively that information was used to make decisions.
That's the insight that led to the creation of Fia.
